Who is responsible
Manish Goel, SEBI Registered Research Analyst (INH100004775), Flat No. 2209B, Block 13, Chandigarh Housing Board, Sector 63, Chandigarh – 160022, is responsible for personal data collected in providing research services. Contact: mnshgoyal@gmail.com.
This website: cookies, analytics and advertising
This website has no forms and never asks for your name, email address or phone number. To understand how visitors use it, and whether my advertising works, it uses cookies and similar technologies, loaded through Google Tag Manager:
- Analytics. Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a search or an ad), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address). This data is kept for 14 months.
- Advertising measurement and remarketing. Tags from Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising, X, Reddit and Quora record that your browser visited this website, so that these platforms can measure the results of my ads and may show my ads to people who have visited before.
These providers process this information under their own privacy policies and may link it with information they already hold about you. No KYC, payment or research-service information is ever sent to them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use a private window — the website works fully without cookies. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, manage Google ads at My Ad Center, and use the ad-preference settings of each platform.
The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, date, time and page requested) for security and reliability; these are not used to identify or profile visitors.
What I collect from clients
- Identity and contact details: name, address, email address and mobile number.
- KYC information required by SEBI, such as PAN and proof of address, and the KYC record obtained from a KYC Registration Agency (KRA) with your consent.
- Payment details: the transaction reference and the bank account from which a fee is paid (for invoicing and refunds).
- Correspondence, including complaints and their resolution.
Why it is used
- To complete KYC and meet obligations under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014 and related laws.
- To deliver research reports and follow-up notes, and to communicate with you about the service.
- To issue invoices, process refunds and meet tax requirements.
- To handle grievances and respond to regulators.
Client personal data is never sold, used for advertising or shared with advertising platforms.
How long it is kept
Records are retained for as long as SEBI regulations and other laws require — generally at least five years after the relationship ends — and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent (subject to records the law requires me to keep), and raise a grievance about how your data is handled. Write to mnshgoyal@gmail.com; requests are answered within 30 days.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect personal data. I will never ask for your login credentials, passwords or OTPs for any trading, demat or bank account.
